Hi, I’m Giselle Figueroa

By day, I’m a victim advocate, walking alongside survivors of intimate partner violence as they navigate the legal system; after work, I trade crisis for clay.

I came to ceramics looking for a place where I could breathe, make mistakes, and not have to hold everything together. At the studio, I care less about flawless pieces and more about learning to let go. As someone whose love language is gift-giving, pottery lets me turn that instinct into everyday objects meant to be used and shared.

Kiln Fairy is my ode to surrendering control in a life built around maintaining it. I shape and glaze each piece with intention, then trust the kiln to finish the story.
